Rex Abergas is our Fascial Stretch Therapy provider and RMT for the Axis family!
Rex has been part of the health and fitness industry for the past 10 years. He began his own personal story as an overweight teenager that decided to change his path. He lost 70 lbs and realized how much better life is when his health is in check. He wanted to share this experience with others and that’s where his career in health and fitness began. He worked as a personal trainer and managed a gym in the past and has always loved working with clients on a 1 on 1 basis.
As he progressed, Rex realized that health care is an important part in any routine. This comes from suffering many injuries and not taking the due diligence to take care of the issue. This led Rex to having treatments regularly with FST. Seeing his results, it built a passion in him to share with people that living pain free is possible.
As a Fascial Stretch Therapy provider, Rex has worked on hundreds of clients since his certification and continues full force down the path of health care. He is currently studying to achieve his RMT license, while having a number of certifications under his belt and looking forward to acquiring more.
What makes Rex a great healthcare provider is that he truly cares. When you are in the room with him, Rex puts all his effort and focus on that person. His motto that he carried from the start of his career is simple:
“When the client trusts you with their health, you give them everything you can and help them get to where they want to get as much as you possibly can.”

Meet Dr. Uravi Shah! A health and fitness driven individual. Upon her completion of her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), she also completed her certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Since graduating, she has had a fulfilling career of treating patients of all ages and assisting them in resolving a multitude of physical injuries/complaints. Having battled with migraines for most of her life, she was drawn to pursue chiropractic as a means of helping those suffering from chronic headaches in the same way that chiropractic has helped her. Prior to entering CMCC, Dr. Shah attended McMaster University where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honours. While at McMaster, she received a scholarship to volunteer and assist at a pediatric facility in India.
