Dr. Claire Bacareza obtained her Honours Bachelor of Health Science in Kinesiology from the Ontario TechU in 2018. She went on to achieve her Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Claire is an evidence-based Chiropractor that is passionate about exercise and helping people make small changes that can greatly and positively impact their overall health. Dr. Claire understands the multifaceted and complex nature of pain problems which is why she fosters the biopsychosocial approach to healthcare.

Manual therapy, exercise, and education are the three major areas of focus during treatments. Not only does Dr. Claire examine the area of complaint, but also addresses other aspects of patients’ health that may be contributing to the issue including emotional and mental well-being, stress, sleep and sleep hygiene, and nutrition. The human body is an intricate system that requires attention to all areas to function optimally. Dr. Claire believes that everybody is a different body and therefore treatments should be tailored to the needs, goals, and pace of each individual human. Dr. Nana-Adjoa Bourne is an Ontario registered naturopathic doctor concentrating in sports medicine, pediatrics, and pain management. As a naturopathic doctor and certified sports nutritionist, she works from the inside-out, supporting performance optimization and injury recovery alongside physical rehabilitation. Using lab analysis, supplement recommendations and prescribed high dose injectable therapies, Dr. Bourne delivers individualized care in order to reduce the use of chronic medications, decrease injury-risk and prevent acute injuries from becoming chronic problems.

Dr. Bourne’s clinical expertise in sports medicine and pain management initially stemmed from her work as a strength and conditioning specialist while studying Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Dennis Chen began his journey at the University of Waterloo where he graduated with a Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2019). He continued his education by obtaining his Doctorate of Chiropractic (Magna Cum Laude) at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (2023). Dr. Dennis is a chiropractor that believes in working collaboratively with individuals to achieve their goals. He understands that a patient’s health is influenced by numerous factors and approaches each case in a holistic manner to determine the right course of treatment.

Dr. Dennis comes from a personal training background and believes that evaluating movement and body positioning is crucial to assessing one’s problems. He incorporates an integrative assessment that evaluates an individual’s movement capacity and tailors it to match their daily responsibilities. Manual therapy, education, exercise/physical activity prescription, lifestyle modifications, and reassurance are the cornerstone of his treatments.
